When I look back and reflect upon all these years that I have been performing magic, I wonder who I have come to be. Eventually, I managed to become a real magician! But magic is timeless. Past, present and future are outside realities.
Merlin granted me these powers and, in due time, I will pass them along onto whoever becomes my successor. The substance of magic reincarnates freely in men and women in different and remote times and places. Who am I in this eternal process? Only a name and a face within which came to life the powers and dreams of Merlin.
