Out of the magician’s chest came one day Facundo, a chatty, witty and grumpy at times little man made of papier-mâché, who cannot help speaking his mind when asked (and often times even when not asked!).

At that time, Antón stops being Antón to become “O Mago Antón” (Antón the magician), a professional magician.He and Facundo obtain great reviews which eventually led to the Merit Award of the Galician critics. A one-word speech was enough to express the duo’s gratitude for the prize, the one word that comes to mind whenever anyone utters the name “Facundo”: “Tranquilidá” (“not to worry!”).
The first years of the decade were years of constant experimentation, of hard study and intense practice. Magic was a religion. Over 600 performances in Galicia and many others in Madrid, Switzerland, Holland, Portugal, Catalonia and the Basque country.
The years of close-up magic in bars and restaurants, of stage magic in festivities all over Galicia At that time Antón joins the Madrid School of Magic and takes part in several international contests in Spain, the United States and all over Europe. Under the trademark “Os Xogos do Raposo” Antón’s creations are made available to the Spanish magic community. His reputation for innovative magic starts to spread worldwide. “The octopus”, “The psychic frog”, “The vanishing molar”, “The pharaoh’s plague” and scores of other groundbreaking effects baffled the experts. These years represented a turning point in Antón’s career.
